Synopsis

As addictions and murky loyalties swirl around them, three women desperate to escape their surroundings rob a group of drug dealers and find themselves fighting through a night that will change their lives forever.
The director certainly has an important story to tell here, and has an interesting vision on how to tell that story. Instead of focusing on the aftermath, or even the main trauma itself, it looks to build up to the pivotal moment, highlight the important details and events that led the characters to make these decisions.
As far as execution goes, the lighting and camera framing are the major take away. These aspects are able to otherwise common place environments and make them feel drastically more vibrant and cinematic.
Unfortunately, I did find some of the acting to be inconsistent, which sadly can undercut the emotional drama of a scene. I don't know how much I can fully fault the…
