I did not watch this but I have a story involving this… A few nights ago I was getting ready for bed and I turned on a movie, just something to not really pay attention to while I doze off. (Yeah I’m one of those ) it was a free YouTube movie so of course AutoPlay plays other movies/videos after. I don’t know how long into the night but I wake up randomly look over and I see pure nightmare fuel on the TV. A naked baby the size of a thimble with fairy wings, so naturally I assume I’m in a nightmare scenario. Because I’m half asleep it’s hard to tell this was a movie, so I can’t even describe the fear I felt. A visceral reaction to this weird CGI mess. So thanks Princess I’m sure you’re a cute harmless movie but I will never watch you.
10 outta 10
5 outta 5 stars
🫶🏼I found my 2000s fever dream. Didn’t have cable but I got this modern fairy tale that combines misogyny, homophobia, and some of the worst CGI.
in the first 10 minutes of this movie the male love interest’s best friend, after his pregnant wife leaves the room for a moment, talks about how he was disgusted by her pregnant body and grimaced when talking about her belly
First Time Watching
This was a recommendation from a friend and considering the fact I've been straight up, blunt, and brutally honest about how I feel about anything Hallmark or Lifetime related (aside from a few I enjoy), this isn't either one of those.
While there's some dated effects and while it isn't the greatest love story ever (there's plenty of those for that quote) and some dialogue is stilted, this turned out a lot better than initially expected with some fun colors, a charming romance and the performances of Nora Zethner and Kip Pardue makes this tolerable.
Grade: Highly Recommend
IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS MOVIE FOREVER
And suddenly I’m 8 years old in my parents’ bed watching shitty cable movies with my sisters again.
you know when you watch something once as a kid while your brain is still developing so it has a lasting impact to the point that you still remember it fondly? and as the years go by your imagination gradually modifies it more and more until you've built an image of this cheesy yet nostalgic film with good special effects which couldn't be further from the truth? then you finally manage to recall its title and excitedly try to watch it and are devastated when you find out that it looks like ass?
best movie ever nothing beats it ifykyk
