In my despair for finding some good werewolf (?) monster shit, I found in my way this little independent short that… WOW let me tell you, is one of the most inspiring things I ever see in my life
The photography and the direction caught my eye in ways that I’m not able to describe right now, and the creature design we only see for 5 seconds is everything to me here
For things like this is what inspires me every day to chase my career in the world of cinema and one day, I’ll become a scriptwriter, a director, a producer, or anything related to the thing that I love the most <3

Even monsters have their own Uber Eats.
Este é um curta sem começo e sem fim. The night courier é incompreensível.
Monsters and their caretakers will always be a horror trope that I adore.
While we don’t actually get to see too much monster content in this short film, I still think that The Night Courier was still a great addition to this kind of thing. When I saw the thumbnail for this short film on YouTube I was totally under the impression that this was going to be a much more traditional vampire story. I eat vampire content up like it’s candy, so I went into this pretty excited. Then The Night Courier went and subverted my expectations, and I ended up enjoying it even more. This is shockingly intense and honestly a little sad too. I don’t want to spoil too much, but I will say that I did want good things for our leading man. Anyway, this is some solid monster content, and I really enjoyed it.

Horror Movie #2422
"If Jack doesn't eat soon, he's going to become very unpleasant."
This started out headed in my direction, but then it lost its way a bit. Ended interestingly enough, though, so not a complete loss.

I mean it was okay. Watching anything offered from ALTER is fun but this one is a little bland. I don't know..

Given that it’s almost 20 minutes long, The Night Courier doesn’t really have any payoff. There’s a lot of loose ends and a rather messy storyline involving very little of a monster that seemed like it would be more prominent.
I love that it’s entirely shot at night and the main character is somewhat interesting but I wouldn’t want to sit through it again.
The cover is really cool and what originally attracted me but sadly, the film falls short of anything worth mentioning.
Enjoyable short, definitely wanted to see more when it was done. I love that they didn't show too much and relied on performance and atmosphere to carry the story.
