Set in 1944, Valiant is a woodland pigeon who wants to become a great hero someday. When he hears they are hiring recruits for the Royal Homing Pigeon Service, he immediately sets out for London. On the way, he meets a smelly but friendly pigeon named Bugsy, who joins him, mainly to get away from clients he cheated in a game of find-the pebble, and helps him sign up for the war.

This movie was distributed by Disney. It came out during the time where their distribution contract with Pixar was about to expire, and they hadn’t yet purchased them. That means that Vanguard was intended to be a replacement for Pixar.

I just got Disney+. The first thing I watched is Valiant (2005) & I regret nothing.
Só Deus sabe quantas vezes eu vi e revi esse filme na minha infância. Teve uma fase em que eu literalmente devia ver ele umas 3 vezes, todo santo dia (hoje aos 18 anos eu ainda me lembro de uns 60% dos diálogos). Não é uma animação espetacular em visual ou em roteiro, mas como ela é gostosinha de se assistir e como ela me fez bem. E sem comentários pra dublagem desse filme, só tem MONSTROS da dublagem brasileira nesse projeto.
