A spectacular Pre-Code that, while short, didn't feel rushed or incomplete. You have a single location populated by a colorful cast of characters, and you get to know them all reasonably well. I thought this was so good, I wouldn't have minded spending another hour with them. I'm not too familiar with Aline MacMahon, but she really shone in her role. Also, nice to see Frank McHugh and Glenda Farrell in fun supporting parts.

The best Halloween sequel, hands down. And it's from the guys behind...Pineapple Express? Sure, I'll take it.

Rankin/Bass were really grasping at straws with this one...

Angelina Jolie made this more watchable than it otherwise would have been.

"Yes, they deserved to die, and I hope they burn in hell!"

The grandaddy of FX-driven blockbusters, with Fay Wray, cinema's original scream queen. The middle (and longest) section taking place on the island went on a little long for my tastes. But that's only a minor criticism as the film is massively entertaining otherwise.
