Obsidian One So glad to find this early, raw release by the one of the all-time great symphonic black metal masters. I'd even argue that early Limbonic Art represents the apex in the genre, when symphonic black metal reached its most epic heights. 'Symphony in Moonlight' and the last minute or so of 'Eve of Midnight' are phenomenal, with noticeably different sound and mix than later versions, and 'Mourning Mystique', one of my all-time favorite black metal songs, is enchanting as ever.

John Gaunt This is literally Old-school Black Metal. It is lo-fi but at the same time surprisingly clear. I can hear synths, drums, guitars, vocals, and either a bass or a downtuned guitar. :) The songwriting and melodies are also impressive for 90s Black Metal. Great collection. Favorite track: Path of Ice.
