Policies

Open Access Policy

LIBER Quarterly provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. This journal does not charge Article Processing Costs (APC's).

Archiving Policy

To ensure permanency of all publications, this journal utilizes Portico to create permanent archives for the purposes of preservation and restoration.

The Journal fully supports and encourages author self-archiving of all content (sometimes termed 'green' open access). LIBER Quarterly is registered with SHERPA/RoMEO to ensure that the license terms and self-archiving policies of the journals are clear.

Repository Policy

Authors are explicitly encouraged to deposit their published article(s) in their institutional repository.

ORCID ID

Authors are encouraged to use their ORCID ID when submitting their manuscript.

Preprint Policy

LQ considers that preprints are not published texts, just posted papers on preprint servers without the clearance of a peer review and editorial curation process. So, manuscripts from preprints are accepted by LQ.  Authors accept that this may in some cases compromise authors' anonymity under the current double blind peer review process.

Website Images

This website contains several free of use images and materials. Every effort has been made to trace rights holders, but if any have been inadvertently overlooked, the publishers would be pleased to make the necessary arrangements at the first opportunity.
