Frequently asked questions
What is a credit?
One credit processes one hectare of LiDAR data, roughly 2.5 acres. Credits are consumed when you run processing jobs on your point cloud data.
Do unused credits expire?
While your subscription is active, unused credits roll over indefinitely, month to month and year to year. If you cancel, credits remain valid until 90 days after the effective end of your subscription — that is when your current billing period ends, not when you click cancel.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly billing?
Yearly billing saves 33 to 34% depending on the plan. You pay once a year and receive all your credits upfront. Premium yearly gives 1,200 credits for $708/year instead of $1,068/year monthly — a saving of $360. Lite yearly is $228/year instead of $348/year, saving $120.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Upgrading from Freemium to a paid plan can be done yourself from the pricing page, and starts immediately. You can switch between paid tiers yourself from your account: upgrades apply immediately and you pay only the prorated difference, while downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. To downgrade to Freemium, cancel your subscription: the account reverts at the end of the current billing period, you keep every feature until then, and remaining credits stay valid for 90 days after.
What happens if I cancel?
Your account reverts to Freemium. You keep access to your projects but cannot process new data beyond the free tier. Purchased credits remain valid for 90 days after cancellation.
Can I buy credit packs without a subscription?
No. Credit packs require an active paid subscription (Lite, Premium or Advanced) to use.
What file formats are supported?
LAS, LAZ and COPC. File size limits depend on your plan: Freemium up to 5 GB LAS / 1 GB LAZ, Lite up to 10 GB LAS / 2 GB LAZ, Premium up to 25 GB LAS / 5 GB LAZ, and Advanced up to 50 GB LAS / 10 GB LAZ.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
The Freemium plan is the free trial. You get 50 hectares of processing to test every feature, with no time limit. Upgrade when you need more capacity.
