This page contains a list of terms and definitions that are commonly found when discussing and playing Wild Rift.
General Gameplay Terms[edit]

- Ace
- When all champions on a team are dead at the same time.
- AD
- Attack damage.
- ADC
- Attack Damage Carry, a champion that deals high amounts of attack damage as the match progresses.
- Aggro
- Targeting attention of a particular hostile unit. "I have aggro on me" or "The creeps are aggro-ing me" means a hostile unit is focused on attacking you.
- AoE
- Area of effect. Refers to the size of the area a spell or attack affects. Also sometimes used to refer to range, e.g. "500 AoE" refers to the 500 radius area around a target point.
- AP
- Refers to Ability power
- AS
- Refers to Attack speed

- CC
- Refers to Crowd control: disabiling targets using abilities or spells (commonly stuns, roots, silences, etc.)

- face check (v.)
- The act of walking into a brush to check for enemy champions. This is risky and is only usually done by tanky champions that can resist damage.
