NVMI was a CIS team founded in 2014, which later joined Virtus.Pro under the Virtus.pro Polar tag.
History
[edit]Goblak and DkPhobos, Goblak's good friend, created their own team after DkPhobos decided to return to professional Dota after 4 years of inactivity. The initial roster was formed with an idea to recruit young players that have not yet reached their potential. Afoninje (replaced by Scandal) shortly left the team due to communication problems and not fully meeting the team's standards.[1]
"NVMI", which stands for Nam Vezet - Mi Igraem (Нам везет - мы играем) meaning "we're lucky - we're going to keep playing", is a reference to an old joke:
