VGJ.Thunder (formerly known as Team VGJ) was a Chinese professional Dota 2 team.
History
[edit]The Dota 2 team of Team VGJ was created in September 2016 after an agreement among China Digital Culture (Group) Limited, Chinese professional e-sports club Vici Gaming and professional basketball player Jeremy Lin, who is endorsing the team. The team was named VGJ after the first letter in Jeremy's name.[1]
In September 2017, the Chinese squad Team VGJ is rebranded VGJ.Thunder, and a new North American squad is added to VGJ family: VGJ.Storm.
On 27 September 2018, The organization re-branded to J.Storm due to the end of their partnership with Vici Gaming and to comply with the new team ownership rules introduced for the 2018/19 Dota Pro Circuit.[2]
On 29 September 2018, VGJ.Thunder announce they have disbanded.[3]
