I’ve always been bugged by the kluginess and ugliness of adding corner indices to playing cards since they look so good without them. And so redundant with both. Like, a two of hearts technically has four hearts. Some cards have only corner indicies and that’s fine, doesn’t look as good as no-indices but looks better than both and is functional in hand.

But corner indices is a usability necessity. Today I found out about a type of corner index I hadn’y seen before: I love Dexter indices!

I love trick taking games and this seems to be a flavorful one.

I had misses these two changes, we’ve definitively ran into situations where these rule changes woulda been relevant. Not sure I like the changes. 🤷🏻‍♀️

But I’ll implement them.

Yeah, there are more expansions and even the first expansions have a bunch of more tokens. I’ve been off the game lately since I got in a li’l tiff with Lehmann 🤦🏻‍♀️

日向坂46 plays 大富豪 (a “The Great Dalmuti” style game). The tournament starts after two songs.

They’re using a french deck and this ruleset: taxation, big two, jokers are wild, a single joker beats any other single, both sets and runs are fine, and you need to match type to type. No bombs. A pretty good ruleset if you don’t have the pyramidal “Dalmuti” deck!
