I wrote about whether from a society-wide perspective the care I’ve been consuming passes a reasonable cost-benefit analysis.

I can’t answer that but I hope whoever does that calculation remembers that all of society does benefit to some extent from keeping this dream alive: that they’ll be taken care of if they get sick.

While caring for her, preparing for her death, and handling logistics afterwards, I learned a lot from online resources, various professionals, and friends. So I’m trying to pass on some things I learned by sharing them in this blog post.
