The Kanata readme says that there is limited support for MacOS but doesn’t go into details so I’m curious how its been working for those of you who have used it on MacOS. The repo: https://github.com/jtroo/kanata

Okay so when the Colemak keyboard layout first was made I had already used Dvorak for many years, and then Workman came later. I was like “enh, no need to switch again because it’s gonna be diminishing returns from Dvorak”.

But looking at all three side by side now, of those three—four with Sholes QWERTY—were the only four options, I’d still chose Dvorak even if I had to start from scratch. Colemak’s “compatibility” with Qwerty is such a non-goal and Workman has a lot of words where the same finger needs to hit separate letters in the same word. The “rolling” is such a key feature of original Dvorak that these other folks kinda slept on!
