I was replaying Stormblood, and Magnai actually comes across as kind of intimidating before you find out what a huge dork he is.

So, WOL or Lyse finds herself imagining just what he might do to her if he decides she is his Nhaama, only to find that he actually has no intention of enacting the dubcon “bathe her and bring her to my chambers” fantasy she’s built up in her head. Bonus points if she winds up in bed with him anyway, only to find out he’s a turbovirgin.

Bitching is when a character who was previously an alpha (or sometimes a beta) becomes an omega, either because there are too many alphas in the area, or because they’ve been regularly submitting to another alpha (sexually or non-sexually), or they’ve ingested or been exposed to enough of another alpha’s pheromones or bodily fluids that their biology starts to change around it. There’s a lot of variation and the mechanism that triggers the bitching can really be anything you want.

i am just a huge sucker for hanahaki and would love it if someone wrote hanahaki aus for Any of these ships: emet-selch x wol, emet-selch x g’raha, g’raha x wol (esp if the hanahaki lingered for a century before the wol arrived in the first), haurchefant x wol, zenos x wol, asahi x zenos, elidibus x wol/azem, hesperos x lahabrea, estinien x ysayle, ysayle x hraesvelgr, estinien x gaius, zhai’a nelhah x lalai, cid x nero, runar x y’shtola, magnai x y’shtola, magnai x male xaela wol, fordola x lyse, gaia x ryne am fine with any ending between “whoops turns out those feelings ARE requited!”, “person suffering with hanahaki gets a surgery/spell/etc done to remove the flowers and with it all their love for that other person”, or “person suffering with hanahaki dies (from whatever kills them in canon if applicable, or from dying of hanahaki, authors choice)” wol can be any race/gender/job (including just being ambiguous) but if you go magnai/wol, i’d prefer a male xaela wol for that ship.

Male WOL is gay. Lyse is a lesbian. They’re both grieving Papalymo, at least a little drunk, and decide to shag. It is the absolute worst sex either of them has had in their lives.

Feel free to write the terrible sex, the aftermath, or both! I would prefer the story ends with them still friends and (eventually) able to laugh about it, but so long as the bad idea is mutual (no noncon/dubcon), go where your muse takes you!
