Julian Assange is a Australian online journalist and television host, founder of WikiLeaks. Assange developed a passion for programming at an early age. At 16, he bought a modem and began working on pre-internet networks. Assange began his undergraduate education at the University of Melbourne, majoring in physics and mathematics. However, he dropped out. Julian has held several IT-related jobs, authored several programs related to network security and routing, and even worked as a computer security consultant for a time.
