Christopher Michael Banks is not your average actor / host /
entrepreneur. Chris Banks is quickly becoming Horror's "it" man. Banks
is not only one of horror television's famous faces, he hosts several
parties at nightclubs all over the nation, Hollywood's red carpets and
can be spotted at major events inside the Playboy Mansion.
Born in Anchorage, Alaska and raised in Boise, Idaho. He moved to Ogden, Utah and studied public relations and ran NCAA Division 1 track and field at Weber State University. He later transferred to the University of Texas at Austin to receive his bachelor's degree in communications. While in school, Banks also trained for acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood. He flew all over the US, booking and working on independent films. After many independent successes, Banks' manager convinced him to move back to Hollywood. A star was born.
Banks has reached international success with his party hosting since the age of 21. Chris also co-stars in major horror films like "BloodRayne: Deliverance" and "Wicked Lake" along side with appearances on MTV and VH1 throughout the years. He is a 2011 nominee for the Spike TV Scream Awards, an annual movie awards ceremony for best horror and sci-fi.
With Banks' determined acting craft at the forefront of his entire career, television is only the beginning to his story.
