  • Trivia
Convicted of the 24 October 2001 murder of the mother of Lisa Stolter-Balloun, Perry claimed at trial that his confession was coerced by the police. He later claimed on a web site set up on his behalf that he was in jail when the murders were committed. Diagnosed with attention deficit disorder at age 8, Perry engaged in petty theft before and after dropping out of junior high. Three months after arriving at Father Edward Flanagan's Boys Town in 1997, he threatened to harm his house parent's children. Just 22 days before the murders, he was arrested for trying to obtain Xanax with a fake prescription. Accomplice Jason Burkett was convicted of killing Stolter-Baloun's brother and the brother of Charles Richardson, and was sentenced to life in prison.
