Shannon is an Air Force veteran, screenwriter, and actor most recently seen on SEAL TEAM, THE ROOKIE, and the Duplass Brothers' feature film THE KNIFE, which premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. She was a 2023 Disney TV Writing Fellowship Finalist and her screenplays have placed in the Top 10% at Slamdance.
She has performed at The Geffen Playhouse and The Kennedy Center as a writer, actor, dancer, and singer.
Shannon served as an Intelligence Officer after 9/11, providing intel support to A-10 pilots in South Korea and analyzing cyber threats at the National Security Agency. Serving in the shadow of war contributed to her fascination with how our stories influence the values and temperaments we uphold in our society.
