Juan Pablo Asturias

Juan Pablo Asturias was born on January 8th of 1982 in Guatemala City. He graduate as Computer Science Engineer from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, while he was studying his career was also learning theatre. He worked as Math and Computer teacher for 4 years, then he worked as Engineer for Nortel Networks for 3 years. Following his dream of be an actor he quit as engineer and traveled to Mexico D.F. to study acting for films, theatre and TV. He studied in M&M Studio of the mexican actress Patricia Reyes Spíndola with professionals as: Felipe Cazals, Salvador Sánchez, Patricia Reyes Spíndola, Xavier Mark, Miguel Ángel Ferriz, Horacio Almada. Then studied in Instituto Cinematográfico Lumiere with Hubert Barrero. After 3 years of study he founded with his wife Escenarte acting academy and theatre production company in Guatemala, before Escenarte there was no acting academy for Films, Theatre and TV in Guatemala. Since 2009 have been part of Escenarte 750 students of different ages.
