In New York theater, Macht appeared off-Broadway in Malvolio at the Classical Theater of Harlem and The Sasquatch Rituals, at The Kitchen, directed by Sibyl Kempson. He had a leading role in The Recruiting Officer at Center at West Park, directed by Catherine Andre.
Macht graduated with an MFA from the NYU Graduate Acting Program. His theater credits at NYU include: Shadow of a Gunman, role of Seanus, directed by Ian Belknap; Cloud 9, role of Betty and Julius Caesar, role of Brutus, directed by Janet Zarish; Group, role of Josh, directed by Pamela Berlin, and Three Sisters, role of Andrey, directed by Lisa Benavides-Nelson.
He is also a singer and an advanced piano player in all styles and he has trained with Uprights Citizen Brigade in New York.
He received his BA in Theater Performance from Fordham University. He's a native of Baltimore, Maryland.
