Jessy LeRôs is an actor/musician from Maracaibo, Venezuela; son of Dr. Judith Rosas, a Research and Development Specialist, and Jesus Leon, a professor, financial advisor and businessman. He is of French and Spanish descent.
In 2024, Jessy trained at The Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London where he solidified his training as an actor/performer under the tutelage of Brigit Panet and Katya Benjamin.
"Most of my acting career has been a process of experimentation, been thrown in the water first, then some diverse training. I feel that my time at RADA, helped me ground my craft, mind, emotions and spirit, with a grasp on technique that spoke to me personally and felt organic to my own being"
Jessy began his acting career in theater freshly arrived in the United States and subsequently from studying classical guitar at the conservatory of Music Jose Luis Paz, Mcbo, Vzla, when he was approached by Anna Brennen, a respected theatre director, while performing a classical guitar recital. He was asked to read for the part of Pablo Picasso in Steve Martin's Picasso at the Lapin Agile. After this performance, he went on to participate on the Broadway Theatre Project under the direction of Tony award winner Ann Reinking. This later earned him a scholarship to study voice performance with Seth Riggs in Los Angeles, CA, where he also attended briefly The Ivana Chubbuck Studio for acting training and later with Kathy Laughlin in Tampa, FL.
Acting and music have always flowed together for Jessy, and while pursuing his acting career, he has managed to also build a highly talented ensemble of musicians who play together in concerts around the country with his band, House Of Leros, founded by him and his two brothers Jesus and James. They have been featured collaboratively and as individual performances at the Hard Rock Music Festival, Burn the Floor Dance Tour, The Straz Center, Ruth Eckerd Hall, Sarasota Opera House, Santa Monica Auditorium, LA, Kendeda Center, Atlanta, The Delano Miami, and many more.
You can watch Jessy soon on the upcoming Series MIA on NBC. Some of his other credits include USA's hit Show Queen Of The South, NCIS, NCIS New Orleans, his critically acclaimed performance in the independent film Drink, and the crossover Telemundo/NBC mini-series Las Princesas/ Off Script.
