Sydney Ozerov-Meyer (professionally known as Sydney Meyer) is a Canadian actress. She grew up in London, Ontario, Canada and developed an early interest in the performing arts.
Meyer took classes at Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts as a child. At 15, she moved to Toronto and transferred from A.B. Lucas Secondary School to the Etobicoke School of the Arts, where she remained for two years. This specialized arts education provided her with foundational training that would support her professional career.
Meyer gained recognition through her work in television, starring in the Netflix series V-Wars (2019) and the Shudder horror anthology series Slasher: Flesh & Blood (2021). She secured recurring roles in the third season of the Freeform supernatural drama Shadowhunters (2019), the Netflix series Grand Army (2020), and the FX on Hulu post-apocalyptic drama Y: The Last Man (2021). She also appeared in the CBC/Universal TV series Departure (2019).
Her professional development included hands-on learning experiences, including a three-day shadowing opportunity on the set of V-Wars, where she observed and learned from camera operators, cinematographers, writers, show-runners, and directors.
