Dexter Masland is an actor and comedy screenwriter from California. He trained at the USC School of Dramatic Arts, the British American Drama Academy in London and UCB Los Angeles. He can be seen in feature film Strays, the hit TV show Jane The Virgin, and the gritty western The Dog Bite Murders. As a screenwriter, he gravitates toward high-energy farce and physical comedy, using humor and chaos to tell stories that are ultimately hopeful and heartwarming. Dexter's skills include improv, physical comedy (think Jim Carrey), and basketball (think Larry Bird).
