Omari is an Associate Producer on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert'. During his first year, Omari pitched/co-wrote his first sketch to air titled, 'Black Future Month', starring 'In Living Color' alum David Alan Grier. He still remains the only comedian from 'The Late Show's' Apprentice diversity program to write a sketch to air, without being on the writers staff.

In 2023, Omari became a finalist at 'Just For Laughs' in Montreal for the 'Stand-Up & Pitch' panel presentation. Omari created and wrote an original comedy pilot and had the privilege to present his tv show to network comedy development executives from Paramount, FOX, NBC, CBS, Comedy Central, etc.

Omari is a proud active member of the Television Academy and Producers Guild of America.

Omari is also a proud alum of iO-Chicago's 'Late Night Writer's Workshop' and 'SNL Sketch Packet' classes as well as The Second City-Training Center in Chicago's improv and sketch writing courses.
