Clarissa Molina, TV Personality, Univision, Actress.

Clarissa Molina is one of the hosts of "El Gordo y la Flaca" (The Scoop and the Skinny), Univision's award-winning entertainment news program, where she presents news about music, show business, social media and other topics of interest. In this role she interviews current artists, interacts on all the program's platforms and social networks and keeps Hispanic viewers up to date on trending topics.

Clarissa won the special edition of Univision's hit dance competition "Mira Quién Baila All Stars" (Look Who's Dancing) in 2019, after receiving the majority of the audience's vote. She also hosted the second season of "La Gran Sorpresa," which aired on UniMás and Univision and had a special participation during the 4-hour broadcast of "Premio Lo Nuestro" music awards show. In addition, she was nominated for the second time to Premios Soberano, in the Dominican Republic, in the category of Renown Communicator (Comunicador Destacado) abroad.

In 2018 she won her first Emmy for her role as host of the "Rose Parade" and starred on Univision Digital's reality show "Cuatro días antes del sí" (Four Days before Yes) alongside Nastassja Bolívar, Aleyda Ortiz and Daniela di Giacomo. That same year she entered the acting world starring in the film "Qué León," alongside popular urban music singer Ozuna. The film premiered in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico and was followed by premieres in U.S., Europe, Mexico, Panama, Colombia and other important territories.

Clarissa joined Univision after winning the popular reality show "Nuestra Belleza Latina VIP" (Our Latin Beauty VIP) (NBL) in 2016. On that special edition of the show, finalists from previous seasons got a second chance to win the crown. She participated in NBL for the first time in 2014, when, despite being an audience favorite, she finished in fourth place. Clarissa is the second Dominican to win the prestigious reality show, following Francisca Lachapel.

As one of U.S. Hispanics' favorite personalities, the popular host has been recognized by People en Español magazine on its list of "50 Most Beautiful" people.

Before coming to Univision, she competed in several beauty contests as Miss Dominican Republic 2015 and represented that country in the 2015 Miss Universe contest, where she finished in the top 10.

Clarissa was born in the city of Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, in 1991 and immigrated to New Jersey with her siblings at the age of 15. She is taking acting classes to continue her professional development, as well as continuing to learn as a TV host and journalist in Miami.
