Janelle Bailey-Moore

Janelle Bailey is a Brisbane based, Matilda award winning actor with a great range of experience across theatre, film and television. Her theatre credits include Rabbit Hole (Ad Astra), The Normal Heart (Ad Astra),The Father (Pip Theatre) Romeo and Juliet (4MBS Shakespeare in the park/Brisbane Immersive) and Young Bodies/Somebody's (YeahNah Theatre) Feature Films & television roles include The Shallows, Patched, Santa Hunters, Swimming for Gold, Harrow, The Lost One, At Last as well as numerous short films and tv commercials. Janelle has trained extensively in Australia with many renowned local and international acting teachers. In 2021 she was Julia Robert's full time stand-in and picture double in Ticket to Paradise. Janelle is the recipient of a Matilda Award for Best Supporting Actor for her role as Dr Emma Brookner in The Normal Heart (2022) and Best Lead Actor in the 48 Hour Film Festival for The Weight of Soil (2025)
