Gordana Kovacic was born in Zagreb, Croatia (then part of Yugoslavia). She is a Croatian jazz singer and a member and founder of a duo-band DuArte with a pianist and a trombonist Luka Zuzic. Also she is a doctor of science (Ph.D.) in Phonetics. She works on Croatian national radio-television (HRT) as a newsreader.
