Hannah Ring

Hsin-Yu Ling (Hannah) was born in Taipei, Taiwan, on Aug. 14, 2001. At age 5, she decided she wanted to be an actor. She was soon cast in a commercial for Nissan, as well as a short CF for a popular brand of tea in Taiwan. Among shooting various music videos, she also landed a small part in a Taiwanese film, "Bad Girls", shot a long promotional video for the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, "Taiwan, My Beautiful Island", and did scenes for Hsiao-Hsien Hou's "The Assassin." Though the scenes in "The Assassin" ended up on the editing room floor, she is still credited in the film under her Chinese name. More recently, she has been in "White Lies, Black Lies" and "On Children."
