Peter Chevako was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was educated in illustration at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and studied in Rome, Italy as part of the European Honors Program. After receiving his BFA he returned to Italy as a fellow to work at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice.
