Elsa Prawitz
Elsa Prawitz born February 22, 1932 in Stockholm, was a Swedish actress, screenwriter and music lyricist. She started acting with Studentteatern and was a student at the Royal Dramatic Theatre School 1950-54. After that she was primarily attached to the Royal Dramatic Theater, The Drottningholm Theatre, Intiman, Stockholm and Upsala and Borås City Theatre 1951-1985. She received great attention in the play "Ägget!" at Intiman (1959). In 1961 she participated in the Karl Gerhard Revue "Ursäkta handsken". She also acted as theatre manager at Alléteatern in Stockholm 1963-66 and was the artistic director of Fästningsspelen in Varberg 1964-65. She was theatre manager at Fredriksdalsteatern in Helsingborg during the summer of 1965. In films and TV shows, she often played sensually challenging women. Not least in a number of films directed by Arne Mattsson. She starred in 25 films 1951-75.
