Jean Herman was born on 17 May 1933 in Pagny-sur-Moselle, France. He was a writer and director, known for Under Suspicion (2000), The Grilling (1981) and Farewell, Friend (1968). He was married to Anne Doat. He died on 16 June 2015 in Gradignan, Gironde, France.
