    Dark-complexioned Russian-born silent screen actor, with Paramount in the 1920's as exotic or Latin romantic leads. He was also a professional ballet dancer, trained at the Imperial Theatre in Moscow and head of his own Russian ballet company which performed at London's Coliseum Music Hall for four years. After the advent of sound pictures, Kosloff worked as a private dance instructor and choreographer.
