He was an actor and director, known for Les mystères de Paris (1962), The Story of the Count of Monte Cristo (1961) and Cordier and Son: Judge and Cop (1992). He was married to Catherine Allary, Anne Fournier, Pascale Roberts and Claude Gensac. He died on 15 September 2012 in Paris, France.
