Zijah Sokolovic

Zijah Sokolovic was born in Sarajevo. In 1978 he got degree both on
Sarajevo Drama Academy and Sarajevo University (in dramaturgy). That
same year he wrote and directed "Glumac je glumac je glumac", monodrama
about his acting experiences. The show was big success that led to the
movies and TV (including very popular children's shows). In January of
1992 (three months before the beginning of war) Sokolovic left
Sarajevo. He is divorced and now lives with his two daughters in
Vienna.
