Bob Terhune
Stuntman and actor Robert Max Terhune Jr. was born on July 13, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio. The son of actor Max Terhune, Bob moved with his family to California in September of 1936. His father bought Terhune his first horse at age eleven and made him ride it bareback for over a year. Bob went on to become a top rodeo star before eventually joining the Screen Actors Guild in 1948. Terhune's career as both a stuntman and an actor spanned over fifty years altogether. A longtime member of the Stuntman's Association, Bob became a practicing minister after retiring and settling down in Florida. Terhune died at age 88 on August 9, 2016.
