Jophielle Love
- Actress
Jophielle was born in France to stuntwoman Karine Mauffrey and high-wire walker Jade Kindar-Martin. She started acting at age three and made her first appearance in the Kiddies Citibank commercial with her dad and brother in 2018.
She has two older brothers, Raphael Luce (known for his role as young Henry Creel in Stranger Things) and Gabriel Sky, both of whom are actors. Jophielle and her family split their time between France, New Orleans, and Los Angeles.
In addition to acting, Jophielle is also a singer and songwriter. She was nominated at the 51st Daytime Emmy Awards for Best Original Song for Shine, which she co-wrote with Derek Deblieux, Douglas Ladnier, and John Shartzer.
Recently, Jophielle was part of the Five Nights at Freddy's movie, in which she played a ghost kid. The movie became Blumhouse's biggest success at the box office.
Jophielle is also known for her role as Violet Finn on General Hospital, appearing in 120 episodes. She joined the show at age five and left in 2024, at age ten.
She considers the show like a second family and has learned a lot, especially during her last year on set, as her intense storyline had her character endure many hardships. Her dad became an alcoholic, her grandfather passed away from ALS, and she sang her second song, True Love, at her uncle's wedding-after which her dad left her to go to rehab. The goodbye scene for that moment broke everyone's heart.
Jophielle explains that toward the end of her time on the show, she often had to learn 40 to 50 pages of dialogue overnight, as the storyline was wrapping up and the drama was intensifying. She says that being on General Hospital for five years was the best acting school a child could ask for.
For the past three seasons, Jophielle has appeared on Will Trent, playing Michael Ormewood's daughter, Cooper.
