Melissa Powell(XII)

Melissa Powell was born in West Sussex, England and she began to study performing at the young age of 16. She moved to Essex when she was 20, where she attended East 15 Acting School and after three years, she graduated the World Performance Theatre Course with a Bachelors Honours degree in hand and began acting in immersive theatre experiences all around London, England. Performing played a massive part in helping her confidence and communication skills in her everyday life, she didn't talk much in school at a young age and despite her excelling in many team sports such as; Basketball, Netball and Rugby, she wasn't as comfortable as soon as she stepped out of the courts and fields, Thanks to her fellow drama classmates and supportive parents, she came out of her shell and recognized her talent in acting and singing. At 18, she had started earning credits from acting in a Halloween attraction and acting in short films for Brighton Film School with 'The Magic Lighter' By Phillip Brown being her best one. After graduating from Drama School she's working to pursue her career in performance for screen, stage, musicals, voice acting and combat. Represented by Eagelstone management
