Syirin is of Malay origin and speak fluent Bahasa. Having started her acting career at the age of 6 by fronting a massive campaign for Nissan, Syirin is a regular in both the commercial & TV world. She has training in the Meisner method as well as in improv comedy. During the height of covid, Syirin co-wrote, co-direct as well as part of the main cast for Yes! Recruitment - a comedy webseries. Later the following year, Syirin also co-wrote/directed/produced as well as was part of the main cast for a short film on mental health aptly titled 'Hidden'.
