Artur Zai was born in Kabul, Afghanistan to a Persian father from the Stanikzai tribe (Kabul province) and Spanish/Indigenous (Pueblo) mother. Went to boarding school in UK. Naturally bi-dialectical: American West Coast and Southern Estuary English. Grew up in a multilingual household with Farsi, Spanish, and Russian often spoken. Has had a richly diverse upbringing across London, Dubai, Istanbul, Mexico, Ukraine, and Los Angeles. A skilled baritone with an impressive vocal range of A1-F5. He will be seen in The Old Man Season 2, portraying Omar opposite Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow.
