J. Bell (previously known as Jessica Ruth Bell) is an LA-based actress and singer known for her adventurous and unique characters/projects. Her whimsical nature most likely comes from her early start in musical theater - of which she clocked 10 years of experience before ever entering the world of cinema. Once she stepped onto the screen, she fell in love with it and never looked back.
Many directors have opted to work with J. again and again, noting that she's a pleasure to work with, a blast on set, and takes notes like no other. One director expressed how she seemed to "walk right off the page" in her audition, booking her the role. Another was so moved by her presence at a table read that he rewrote her part to be larger than it originally was.
She studied improv at UCB, scene study at The Acting Center, and continues to study singing with her vocal coach weekly.
