J. Patrick Burns

J. Patrick Burns (known as Jim) is an American actor, singer, and voice over artist. He is of strong Irish and Italian decent. Known for playing in real life crime dramas like the Weather Channel's Storm of Suspicion, New York Homicide, and The Jinx, Part II seen on HBO Max.
Having a strong love of country with patriotic values learned at home, Jim followed in his father's footsteps by enlisting in the U.S. Army in 2001 (pre-9/11) where he spent his entire career serving on active duty. His military overseas experiences include two tours as a combat engineer in South Korea and one tour in Iraq. In 2005, Jim also took part in relief efforts for Joint Task Force Katrina providing health care and relief efforts to victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, LA. Now a retired Army officer with over 20 years of active duty service, Jim brings a myriad of experiences as a professional soldier to his performances. Serving abroad provided him with deep insights into appreciating other cultures and maintaining quality relations between the U.S.A. and other nations.
Jim's performer repertoire includes voice over acting in a variety of character roles. The majority of Jim's singing experiences come from enthusiastically participating in Catholic choirs. He cantors church services, and proudly sings renditions of the Star Spangled Banner at military and sporting events.
Jim trained under the direction of esteemed acting professionals as Stuart Yee (SAG-AFTRA), Tanner Lagasca (SAG-AFTRA), and Emily Angelou.
