Samir Gurung is a British Nepali Actor & Dancer from London. Born in Hong Kong, spent his childhood in Nepal and moved to the UK when he was 18, he grew up his passion for acting and dancing at an early age. Since 2009, Samir has been working on numerous feature films, theatre plays, short films and commercials.
He is the main lead actor cast as Kulbir Thapa in featured film '1915: Legend of the Gurkhas'. He has acted in numerous feature films such as Tiger's Nest, Chukul, Fulbari and Kama. He has acted in numerous plays for theatre such as 'A Perfect Gift' and 'Hit and Run'.
He has studied Meisner Technique from Tom Radcliffe and Simon Furness in Actor East Theatre since 2021.
