Marion Stokes(II)
Marion Stokes was an American television producer, librarian, civil rights activist, and archivist. She is best known for her extraordinary project of recording television news 24 hours a day for over 35 years, from 1977 until her death in 2012. Stokes amassed more than 70,000 VHS tapes, capturing a continuous stream of media coverage that now serves as a valuable historical archive.
