Denis Manturov
Denis Mauturov is a Russian statesman and political figure. First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
In 1994, he graduated from the sociology department of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, specializing in sociology. In the early 1990s, he worked in a Russian-Indian joint venture engaged in air transportation. Since 1993, he has been engaged in the export of Mi-8 helicopters from the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant. In 1998-2000, Manturov held the position of Deputy General Director of the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant. In 2000-2001, he was Commercial Director of the Moscow Helicopter Plant named after M. Mil. In 2001-2003, he held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise State Investment Corporation. In 2003-2007, he was the General Director of the United Industrial Corporation Oboronprom. In 2006, he graduated from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration with a degree in jurisprudence. From 2007 to 2008 - Deputy Minister of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation. In 2008, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. In February 2012, Manturov was appointed as acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and on May 21, he was confirmed in the post of Minister. In 2018 and in 2020 he was reappointed to this post. In 2022, he became one of the Deputy Prime Ministers of the Russian Federation. In 2024, Manturov was approved for the post of First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
