Ahmed Farid is a visionary Egyptian actor, visual artist, academic, and humanitarian whose multifaceted career spans more than two decades across fine arts, film, television, and cultural diplomacy. Recognized by the United States with the prestigious Extraordinary Ability Green Card (EB-1A), he has established himself as an internationally acclaimed talent.
Very well known across the Arab region, Farid gained wide recognition for his leading roles in the Arabic adaptations of Ugly Betty (Heba Regl El Ghorab) and Drop Dead Diva (Tel'et Rohi). His acting credits also include acclaimed series such as Ahl Cairo, Ism Moaqat, Oreedo Ragolan, Al Saalouk, Infiltration (Ekhteraq), Aslli, Gawdar Part 2, Password, We Have a Date, and the Netflix series Valentino. Born into a legacy of creativity under his late father, the master artist Mohamed Farid, he pursued advanced studies, earning both a Master's and a Ph.D. in the Philosophy of Art from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. He later served as a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts and at the Media Management Department of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, and continues to inspire students worldwide through lectures and masterclasses, including at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.
