Dr Joanne Paul is a writer, consultant and broadcaster working on the history of the Renaissance, Tudor and Early Modern Periods. She has appeared in a variety of television documentaries and works behind the scenes as a historical advisor. Joanne is Honorary Senior Lecturer in History at the University of Sussex, a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She also a BBC/AHRC New Generation Thinker for 2017.
