Joe Pappalardo(II)
Joe Pappalardo an author of six books and internationally recognized, award winning journalist. He is author of the non-fiction books: "Sunflowers: The Secret History," "Spaceport Earth," "Inferno," "Red Sky Morning," "Four Against The West" and "Boomtown: The True Story of the Wickedest Town in Texas." After working as a daily newspaper reporter in Mexico and Texas, Joe focused on magazines, serving on the staffs of National Defense and Smithsonian Air & Space, before joining Popular Mechanics for a 7-year run, rising to senior editor. He also served as editor in chief of the Dallas Observer and contributes to National Geographic, Texas Monthly and Popular Mechanics. He has also appeared on various national television news shows, including CNN, CSPAN and Fox News.
