B M Venkatesh was a film producer who passed away in 2011. He produced movies under the banner 'Maharaja movies and 'Mamatha Movies' . Venkatesh was a notable lead actor of kannada films during 60s and 70s. His notable movies are Postmaster, Miss Bangalore, Onde Balliya Hoogalu, Addadaari,Kannika Parameshwari Kathe. He was also introduced many prominent actors to the Indian film industry like Om Puri, Nasirudin Shah, Rajanikanthand many more.
