Suparnokanti Karati

Suparnokanti Karati is an Indian film producer and owner of OPERA Movies. His debut production ' Bishorjon' directed by Kaushik Ganguly won the National Award ( 64th) for best Bengali film. He is also the producer of ' Bijoya' and ' Tarikh' ( 66th National Award for best dialogue) . He is the recipient of ' Mahanayak Samman' by Govt of West Bengal for ' Bishorjon' in 2017. ' Bishorjon' was awarded Filmfare East ( 2018) and Zee Cine Award (2018) for best Bengali film. This film was screened in 48th IFFI , Goa and 1st SCO Film Festival , China. 'Tarikh' received Jury Special Mention Award in International competition section at 24th KIFF 2018 and it represented India in BRICS Film Festival 2019. This film also won Los Angeles Film Awards 2019 for Best Indie Feature. OPERA Movies has also produced five original films for TV named ' Shubho Sharodiya' , ' Charki' , ' Gupi Gayen' , ' Felunather Marksheet' , ' Debigarhe Garbar' and a Hindi project ' Laal Mirch' for OTT.
